Mourne Wall (2)

The Mourne Wall was built between 1904 and 1922 to enclose the reservoir’s catchment area and traversing fifteen mountains. It was crafted from natural granite stone using traditional dry stone walling techniques. It remains a monument to the skill and strength of the local men.
