Smugglers Head, Newcastle
Smugglers Head is based in a car park just on the outskirts of Newcastle, Co.Down and is a sculpture to represent the amount of smuggling that went on in ealrier times on that coast.
The smugglers would take their contraband through the Bloody Bridge, and follow the track up the mountains to the Brandy Pad to hide their goods.
It is a regular starting point for mountain walkers who wish to climb the Mournes.
